Selection of Optimum Fiber Reinforced Plastic Wrapping for Structural Columns

چکیده

In the present study, numerical analysis of concrete columns wrapped with different composite materials is conducted. Different fibre reinforced plastic sheets such as CFRP, BFRP, HFRP, AFRP, GFRP and steel wrapping are taken into consideration. A cylindrical specimen representing a short column modelled Total deformation, Directional deformation Equivalent stresses in core shell were obtained studied finite model analysis. The Stress variations, Ultimate load, Percentage reduction Load Increment also behavioural study observed. Cost various used conducted most suitable material based on maximum allowable working load cost suggested.
